Parking 

Alphabetti Theatre does not have its own carpark for customers and visitors. There is no parking on St James Blvd. (our main entrance) but there is parking to the other side of the building on Blandford Square. This parking is 'pay and display' but is part of the Council initiative meaning it is FREE after 6pm. Our nearest BLUE BADGE spaces is in the car park in between Alphabetti Theatre and the Discovery museum. We are currently in talks with Newcastle city council to increase the amount of BLUE BADGE spaces surrounding the venue. 

 

Taxi

When arriving by taxi from any direction the driver will need to come onto Blandford Square to gain access to the small street that fronts the Alphabetti Theatre main entrance. Taxi's should not stop on the main St James Blvd dual carriageway. We have contacted all local taxi companies to notify them of this.

 

Bus

Our nearest bus stop is WESTMORLAND ROAD, which comes off ST JAMES BLVD and is 400ft away from the venue. We are also a 7 minute (0.3 miles) walk from CENTRAL STATION which is a major BUS stophub

 

Metro

Our nearest METRO STATIONS are ST JAMES & CENTRAL STATION. If you are travelling on the yellow line then exit at ST JAMES STATION then head right out of the exit and walk on the right handside down ST JAMES BLVD for 10 minutes. If using the green line then exit at CENTRAL STATION and make a left out of the station and we are a 8 minute walk down NEVILLE STREET.
