In Newcastle, a queer community choir meet, eat biscuits and belt ABBA songs. A safe space amidst the chaos of the big bad world.

But Super Trouper and Custard Creams are no defence against sh*t men and TERFs. The world can't take anymore and the choir are called to help. On an almighty adventure, they must learn from the mistakes of the past in the hopes of making a sparkling future full of jazz hands and crocs.

The Last Wave is a work in progress musical by Rosie Bowden and Maya Torres. The piece will be performed with The Girls, Theys and Slays community choir.
