Leo Middea is a Barcelona-based singer-songwriter who blends Brazilian genres like bossa nova, samba, and Latin folklore with a modern twist.

A finalist in last year’s prestigious Festival da Canção (Portugal’s pre-Eurovision contest), he captivated millions and cemented his rising prominence in the music world.

In 2024, Middea played 12 sold-out shows across England, including Manchester, London, Bristol, Frome, Oxford, and Brighton. Now, he makes his Newcastle debut right here at Alphabetti Theatre, bringing his distinctive sound to our intimate, independent space.
