GIVE OR TAKE workshop:

The GIVE OR TAKE workshop facilitates participants to explore and express their own experience of giving and receiving with attention to embodied consent. This theme is creatively considered through dance and live sound, with participants developing creative skills to take to their own artistic practice. This workshop strengthens dance improvisation technique, drawing on experience across contemporary dance, physical-theatre, clown and butoh. This workshop welcomes all levels of movement experience.

About the GIVE OR TAKE performance:

Blending clowning, dance-theatre, and live electronic music, GIVE OR TAKE by Bold Mellon Collective offers a queer critique of what it means to give and to receive.

Unpacking celebrations and transactions, Emilia and Annie have been searching for an answer to the question: does anything ever truly come for free?
