We have commisioned this fantastic artist to create a short reaction piece to our main programme show, The Fixing.

Cooper McDonough is a working-class actor from Newcastle. Post pandemic he found himself equally passionate about working with food, art and communities and understanding what place the art sector has got in the world we live in today. He is now beginning to work as an actor again and get back into the room - recently being involved in the Good Name Clowning School and also on a residency with Gecko Theatre. He can’t wait to make some magic out of exciting bold work and in particular he is keen to start doing what he loves – acting – again.

Cooper said, “The Reaction pieces at Alphabetti have been a main driver for me to step back into working as an actor - learning from other artists and creators on what it means to create with purpose. I'm buzzing to get a chance to react to Fixing, and to also find along the way what not just me, but also others, might want to fix.”
